About the position

The Lockheed Martin Camden Arkansas location is seeking an Industrial Engineer (Early Career) to support various vehicle, missile, or rocket programs. This role involves applying traditional Industrial Engineering techniques and disciplines to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency. The position requires collaboration with the Product Manager, Program Support Team, and the Industrial Engineering Manager to ensure effective project execution and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Apply traditional Industrial Engineering techniques such as man-loading, work flow analysis, and capacity analysis.
• Conduct time studies and perform equivalent units completed calculations.
• Engage in capital equipment justification and make vs. buy studies.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Program Support Team to support vehicle, missile, or rocket programs.
• Implement process improvements and benchmarking activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in an engineering or STEM related field.
• Experience with time studies, man loading, capacity analysis, and project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

• Industrial Engineering degree preferred but open to considering candidates from other engineering and STEM disciplines.
• Experience with simulation techniques.
