Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of production operation time standards.
• Track cost and schedule performance at the part level.
• Establish efficiency calculations and conduct capacity/manpower assessments.
• Perform trend analysis and capital equipment justifications.
• Design production layouts and process flows.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives and other process improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of Production/Industrial Engineering concepts.
• Coursework or project-related experience using continuous improvement tools and methods (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with SAP ERP system.
• Experience with simulation modeling (Simio).
• Understanding of Capacity Planning, Man-loading/Balancing, Estimating/Line Flow.
• Internship experience in a manufacturing environment.
