About the position

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Early Career Industrial Engineer to join their Pike County Operations in Troy, Alabama. The role involves conducting various industrial engineering activities, including time and motion studies, process flow analysis, and facility design. The engineer will support performance management teams through metric analysis and process improvement initiatives, driving continuous improvement and capturing cost savings. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, possess strong communication skills, and be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classical Industrial Engineering activities such as time and motion studies and process flow analysis.
• Perform work measurements and establish time standards.
• Manage productivity and performance, including capacity resource analysis and simulation modeling.
• Support Performance Management Teams (PMT) through metric analysis and process improvement identification/implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and capture cost savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Management, or a similar discipline.
• Understanding of Industrial Engineering tools and techniques.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
