About the position

The candidate will be responsible for conducting standard Industrial Engineering activities while assisting with the planning and execution of new production areas. This role involves developing analytics tools, conducting data analytics, tracking cost and schedule performance, and establishing manufacturing health metrics across multiple areas. The candidate will also drive continuous improvement projects, capture cost savings, and perform project management duties, presenting analyses and recommendations to various levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct standard Industrial Engineering activities.
• Assist with the planning and execution of new production areas.
• Develop analytics tools and conduct data analytics.
• Track cost and schedule performance.
• Establish manufacturing health metrics for multiple areas.
• Perform efficiency calculations and capacity assessments.
• Conduct trend analysis and other process improvement activities.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and capture cost savings.
• Perform project manager duties and present analysis and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar Engineering degree.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.

Nice-to-haves

• Tableau/SQL/Python/Data Analytics experience.
• Experience in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD or Creo.
• Experience with Simulation Software (e.g., SIMIO, Process Sim).
• Manufacturing Experience.
• Facilities Layout/Factory Design Experience.
