About the position

As a Production Efficiency Analyst at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our production processes and facility layouts to enhance overall efficiency. Your work will involve analyzing workflows, designing improvements, and implementing strategies that maximize the utilization of both equipment and personnel. You will also contribute to safety initiatives and training programs, ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Collaborating with various teams, you'll drive cost reduction and process improvement efforts that support our operational goals. In this role, you will analyze and design the sequence of operations and workflow to enhance efficiencies across plant and production facilities, as well as optimize equipment layouts. You will develop and implement methods to maximize the utilization of production facilities and personnel, driving continuous improvement in operations. Additionally, you will collaborate on or establish accident prevention measures and manage training programs to ensure safe and efficient production operations. Your responsibilities will also include conducting in-depth studies related to cost control, cost reduction, inventory management, and production record systems. You will use insights from these studies to recommend and implement facility modifications and process improvements. Working closely with facilities engineers, you will assist in the planning and design of facility enhancements that support streamlined operations. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with facilities engineers to assist in the planning and design of facility enhancements that support streamlined operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience or Master's degree with no experience
  • Experience with MS Office

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Manufacturing Operations
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
