About the position

The Industrial Engineering Technician position at CTG involves applying scientific, technological, and mathematical principles to optimize the manufacturing processes of our premier client, a Fortune 500 company. This role is crucial in determining the most effective ways for the organization to utilize its resources, including people, materials, equipment, information, and energy, to produce high-quality products efficiently. The technician will be responsible for planning plant, office, and production facility layouts, determining the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow, and establishing methods for maximizing the utilization of production facilities and personnel. The successful candidate will work closely with the project team and will be given specific, detailed instructions for technical assignments. This position requires a basic understanding and application of standard engineering or scientific theories, concepts, principles, and techniques. The technician will also be expected to develop and resolve solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope, with work being closely monitored to ensure adherence to established guidelines and standards. Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Fort Worth, TX, during the 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7 AM. The role is a contract position, and applicants should have an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree being desirable. Strong soft skills and 0-3 years of experience in a related field are essential for success in this role.
