About the position

The Industrial Engineer I position at Raytheon involves supporting the Effectors portfolio of factories in Camden, AR, with a focus on maximizing throughput, improving efficiency, and delivering value to customers. The role encompasses various responsibilities including labor performance analyses, process mapping, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives, all aimed at enhancing factory operations and safety.

Responsibilities

• Model factory operations by generating process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings.
• Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints.
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• Draft infrastructure improvement proposals and plan the integration of new products and technologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to execute projects that improve factory performance.
• Support new production contract proposals and new product integration efforts.
• Enhance factory safety and work cell ergonomics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar discipline with 1 year of applicable experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
