About the position

The Industrial Engineer Level 2 position at Lockheed Martin involves performance cost analysis, including cost and schedule management, cost prevention, and proposal cost estimating. The selected candidate will prepare baseline spend plans, analyze performance control reports, and document variance analysis and cost impacts to programs. This role supports various contracts and may require interfacing with other Lockheed Martin sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance cost analysis including cost and schedule management.
• Prepare baseline spend plans and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly Performance Control Reports (PCRs).
• Document variance analysis and cost impacts to programs.
• Prepare monthly program cost and earned value inputs and analysis.
• Support quarterly Estimate to Complete (ETC) forecasts and program spend plan updates.
• Support proposal activities and preparation of basis of estimates (BOEs).
• Interface and travel to other Lockheed Martin sites as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Knowledge of Industrial Engineering including learning curve application and manufacturing touch labor performance analysis.
• Experience with statistical analysis.
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with employees, leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience in a production environment with knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
• Prior experience with touch labor cost management and/or proposal estimating.
• Manufacturing cost reduction experience and variance reporting.
• Experience with SAP and familiarity with Apriso.
• Familiarity with MFC products and processes.
• Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.
