About the position

The Industrial Engineer position at INDO-MIM in San Antonio, TX, involves providing essential engineering support to project managers for various equipment and facilities projects. The role requires the creation and maintenance of critical manufacturing process documentation, which includes process flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work documentation, cycle time analysis, and line balancing. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining project timelines and deliverables to effectively support both internal and external customers. A key aspect of this role is the understanding and execution of cycle time studies for all processes and machine development. The engineer will also be expected to conduct Value Stream Mapping for various processes to identify areas for improvement. Utilizing methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis, the engineer will formulate and support corrective actions and continuous improvement activities. Additionally, the role involves developing and designing robust manufacturing concepts aimed at simplifying and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to best practices to meet or exceed quality and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing required.
