About the position

The Industrial Engineer position at TLD America focuses on developing and improving manufacturing processes through research and analysis of product and manufacturing methods. The role involves evaluating current processes, designing new methods, ensuring product quality, and maintaining operational efficiency within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and modifying methods and equipment.
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods and establishing standards.
  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
  • Maintains product and process database by writing computer programs and entering data.
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Leads and supports 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of CAD and CAD/CAM Circuit Design.
  • Experience in manufacturing quality and product development.
