The candidate will also manage cost reduction projects and support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives while developing budgets for various responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop plant layouts and scheduling procedures.
• Establish production standards and routing procedures.
• Recommend automated material handling equipment.
• Implement changes to increase productivity.
• Perform work measurement studies to optimize material flow.
• Analyze production operations for efficiency.
• Determine efficient operator methods and workstation assignments.
• Create, manage, and track cost reduction projects.
• Support Lean and Six Sigma programs.
• Develop and submit budgets with cost justifications for capital equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or other engineering.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in cost reduction and process improvement in manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering processes and practices.
• Advanced mathematics skills, including statistics.
• Familiarity with administrative management and supervisory techniques.
• Experience in warehouse design and layout, Warehouse Management, and control systems.
• Proficiency in Engineered Work Standards.
• Working knowledge of OPEX/Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, preferably with Green Belt certification.
