The role of an Industrial Engineer at Zober Industries involves utilizing project management and mathematical skills to analyze and improve the company's current processes and procedures. Industrial Engineers are responsible for evaluating existing manufacturing practices, identifying areas for improvement, and designing new production processes. They will also develop control systems aimed at minimizing costs while enhancing production quality. This includes compiling equipment and material lists, conducting cost analyses, estimating production costs, and preparing purchase orders prior to implementing new projects. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvement.
• Manage production schedules and coordinate services to maximize productivity.
• Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
• Improve the efficiency of each production process.
• Evaluate employees' tasks and responsibilities, identifying procedures or tools to improve productivity.

Requirements

• Experience with metal fabrication and/or electronic PCB and electronic assembly is very helpful; prior experience is useful but training will be provided.
• Proficiency in basic and advanced calculations, including calculus, trigonometry, and algebra, to determine current and potential productivity of processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to make technical recommendations understandable to business stakeholders.
• Good leadership skills to assist in implementing productivity changes and developing relationships with coworkers.
• Analytical skills to evaluate and interpret data, create reports, and describe results to company decision-makers.
