About the position

Yaskawa America, Inc is seeking an Industrial Engineer for their Buffalo Grove, IL location. This role involves managing projects and applying engineering skills throughout all phases of the manufacturing and operations process. The position is hands-on and offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across multiple teams, contributing to the quality and configuration of manufactured products while supporting lean manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects that impact the quality of products manufactured and distributed by the Buffalo Grove facility.
• Contribute to the quality, configuration, and introduction of all manufactured products.
• Support the lean manufacturing production process.
• Work collaboratively across multiple teams on various projects.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 0 to 5 years of engineering experience in an ISO certified manufacturing environment.
• General knowledge of business operations including production planning, scheduling, MRP, ATP, and capacity planning.
• Understanding of mechanical fabrication processes.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
