About the position

The Industrial Engineer position at E-Solutions Inc. focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes within the automotive industry. The role requires a strong background in industrial engineering, project management, and proficiency in Power BI for data analysis. The engineer will be responsible for implementing Lean manufacturing principles, conducting time studies, and leading continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Power BI to collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Design and improve manufacturing systems and processes to increase efficiency.
• Conduct time studies and work measurements to support labor and process improvements.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead and manage projects focused on process optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
• Track project progress and report on key milestones and deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, such as reducing downtime and optimizing resource allocation.
• Monitor and report on the financial impact of implemented changes.

Requirements

• Years of experience in Industrial Engineering within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience in Time Study, Line balancing, VA / NVA analysis, Value Stream Mapping, and Layout Planning (AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with MODAPTS and continuous improvement projects.
