About the position

The position involves defining the internal flow architecture of a warehouse based on the principles of the SPS (Standardized Process System). The role requires designing a local warehouse that adheres to SE Global architecture standards, which includes creating standardized work instructions, floor layouts, and material storage configurations. A significant aspect of this role is applying Lean principles to minimize waste and optimize processes within the warehouse environment. The design of the warehouse must meet various targets, including safety, capacity, quality, and efficiency, ensuring that all operations are conducted under safe and ergonomic conditions. In addition to the physical design, the position also involves integrating the SAP system with warehouse management configurations. The successful candidate will champion the continuous improvement of the digital transformation of Material Providing and Handling (MPH) and Warehouse operations by implementing new automation and technology aimed at optimizing safety, quality, time, and cost. This includes route planning for the evacuation of finished products and waste, as well as conducting audits of established processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards. The role also requires the development and preparation of relevant reports that detail findings and include recommendations for improvement actions. This comprehensive approach ensures that the warehouse operates efficiently and effectively, aligning with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Define the internal flow architecture based on SPS principles.
• Design local warehouse to SE Global architecture standards, including standardized work instructions, floor layouts, and material storage configurations.
• Apply Lean principles to reduce waste in warehouse operations.
• Ensure warehouse design meets safety, capacity, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Ensure safety and ergonomic conditions in warehouse and material handling activities.
• Integrate SAP system with warehouse management configuration.
• Champion continuous improvement of digital transformation of MPH and Warehouse.
• Implement new automation and technology to optimize safety, quality, time, and cost.
• Plan routes for the evacuation of finished products and waste.
• Audit established processes and procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop and prepare reports of findings including recommendations for improvement actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field is required; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• SAP experience preferred.
• 2+ years' experience working in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience with flow architecture for warehouse layout.
• Experience with Lean methodologies in a warehouse environment, including digital transformation of MPH and Warehouse.
• Experience with warehouse design sizing.
• Experience with route planning for the evacuation of finished goods and waste.
• Ability to collaborate in a dynamic, multicultural team environment.
• Must be able to work around chemicals, hazardous waste, and all types of equipment safely.
