Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. The team in Oxnard, CA is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to support new production lines. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate or continue to build a portfolio of LEAN and/or Agile projects & initiatives focusing on the scale-up of high-impact products that are changing the way the spacecraft industry operates. The role involves setting up, scaling up, and optimizing production lines and spacecraft production areas. You will analyze production data, Value Stream Maps (VSMs), and manufacturing workflows to provide a targeted and strategic approach to continuous improvement, production efficiency, and quality assurance. Coordination with leaders and stakeholders through routine touchpoints will be essential to communicate and align strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for the routine evaluation and implementation of training, tools, and/or plans related to maximizing production output, inventory control, quality assurance, and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

  • Setup, scale up, & optimize production lines & spacecraft production areas.
  • Analyze production data, VSMs, & manufacturing workflows to provide targeted & strategic approach to continuous improvement, production efficiency, & quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with leaders & stakeholders through routine touchpoints to communicate & align strategy.
  • Routine evaluation & implementation of training, tools, and/or plans related to maximizing production output, inventory control, quality assurance & cost reduction.

Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 0 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with VSMs (Value Stream Map) and production line analysis.
