About the position

Cintas is seeking an Industrial Engineer to assist locations in multiple regions with environmental issues and wash chemistry optimization. This role is critical in ensuring environmental compliance and optimizing wastewater treatment processes. The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing wastewater treatment systems, remediating contaminated legacy properties, and conducting due diligence for property transfers. Additionally, the position supports sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, which are increasingly important in today's business landscape. The role also involves oversight of wash chemistry and formulas to ensure hygienically clean processes, which is essential for maintaining the quality and safety of our services. The Industrial Engineer will work closely with various teams across the organization to implement best practices in environmental management and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations/engineering
  • Experience with environmental issues related to wastewater treatment and compliance
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within assigned regions
  • Strong communication skills.
