About the position

The Industrial Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing processes by maximizing efficiency, reducing waste, and designing optimal plant floor layouts. This position involves driving innovation through lean manufacturing solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing data-driven improvements to boost productivity and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve production processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize delays.
• Lead the development of lean manufacturing processes that will help us stay at the forefront of operational excellence.
• Design and optimize plant floor layouts, equipment arrangement, and material handling systems for maximum flow and productivity.
• Conduct feasibility studies for exciting new projects, helping shape the direction of future operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Engage in automation and programming initiatives to further streamline operations.
• Prepare detailed reports on project progress, findings, and key recommendations to drive decision-making.
• Collaborate with Cost Estimators and Packaging Engineers to create efficient, ergonomic designs focused on improving labor efficiencies and reducing transportation costs.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in plant floor design, including layout optimization, material flow, and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and experience with quality management systems.
• Proven track record in lean manufacturing and process improvement.
• A passion for automation and programming, with experience in these areas being a strong plus.
• A proactive mindset and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
