About the position

We are seeking a seasoned Industrial Engineer with a strong background in the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of production systems, with a specific focus on improving productivity, efficiency, and operational costs. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of IPC-A-610 and Solder Inspection. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of delivering results. This is a permanent position that offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to excellence in engineering. The position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. You will design and implement production layouts, assembly lines, and machine operations to optimize productivity and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will conduct research to find out the most effective practices for manufacturing and suggest improvements to current operations. Regular inspections will be conducted to ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards, and you will use IPC-A-610 standards for Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies, performing Solder Inspection to ensure quality and reliability of products. You will also recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods, and controls, and coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products while working closely with research and development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.
  • Use IPC-A-610 standards for Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
  • Perform Solder Inspection to ensure quality and reliability of products.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods, and controls.
  • Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products.
  • Work closely with research and development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong background in the Engineering industry.
  • Deep understanding of IPC-A-610 and Solder Inspection.
  • Proven track record of delivering results.
