About the position
The Industrial Engineer at CaptiveAire is responsible for documenting and supporting various products in production, ensuring consistency across manufacturing facilities, and becoming the product expert for specific items. This role involves implementing new products and design changes, maintaining quality assurance, and addressing manufacturing issues to uphold product standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement new products and design changes into manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure exact duplication of products and processes between manufacturing facilities.
- Become the product expert for a select product or group of products across all manufacturing facilities.
- Document product builds and instructions using Dozuki software.
- Review and implement product Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) at manufacturing plants.
- Ensure perfect quality assurance of all managed products and address manufacturing issues associated with these products.
Requirements
- 0-10 years of experience in a related field.
- 4-year technical degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering.
- Internship or co-op experience is preferred.
- Hands-on product exposure is essential.
- Electrical skills and experience are needed.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software is a must.
- Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
- A strong desire to ensure customer satisfaction with perfect product quality and to maintain a safe work environment.
