About the position

The Industrial Engineer position involves a comprehensive analysis of manufacturing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity. The role requires a deep understanding of various engineering methodologies, including MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique), MODAPTS (Modular Arrangement of Predetermined Time Standards), and MTM-UAS (Methods-Time Measurement - Universal Analysis System), along with the application of stopwatch methodologies. The engineer will be responsible for conducting thorough analyses of value-added and non-value-added activities to identify areas for improvement and optimization within the production line. In addition to process analysis, the Industrial Engineer will propose line balancing and workload balancing scenarios to ensure optimal resource utilization. This includes determining the efficient use of resources by analyzing layouts, labor force distribution, equipment usage, and driver and equipment utilization charts. The role also involves performing ergonomic studies to assess workplace design and its impact on worker efficiency and safety, summarizing findings to recommend improvements. The engineer will be tasked with recommending fixture concepts that enhance both quality and speed in manufacturing processes. A specific focus will be on valve actuator and refrigeration manufacturing, requiring the candidate to have prior experience in these areas. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
