About the position

The Industrial Engineering Technician will work within the Facility and Infrastructure Management Department, specifically in the Facility and Plant Planning Division. The role focuses on investigating variances in production, developing work methods for aircraft repair, and conducting studies to evaluate production methods.

Responsibilities

  • Perform investigations, reviews, and studies to determine reasons for excessive variances in man-hours and dollar losses or gains.
  • Develop detailed work methods and processes for the repair and/or overhaul of assigned aircraft, engines, and components.
  • Conduct industrial engineering studies to evaluate existing and proposed production and operational methods.
  • Prepare necessary documentation to enable shop compliance in the rework of aircraft, engines, components, and ground support equipment.

Requirements

  • Experience in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills to investigate variances and develop solutions.
  • Ability to create detailed work methods and processes.
  • Familiarity with aircraft repair and overhaul procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of production and operational methods in the aviation industry.
  • Experience with compliance documentation for aircraft maintenance.
