About the position
Performance Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking experienced Industrial Hygienists to engage in consulting and testing projects focused on industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, and lead. The role involves conducting assessments, generating reports, and providing training related to regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Industrial Hygiene monitoring and assessments for chemicals and noise.
- Generate reports and formulate appropriate recommendations.
- Develop various types of written programs related to industrial hygiene.
- Provide site-specific training on federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct Indoor Air Quality investigations for both industrial and non-industrial buildings.
- Communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and clients.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, and lead consulting/testing.
- Attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Ability to communicate with various levels of personnel.
- Experience in conducting Indoor Air Quality investigations.
- Certifications such as NIOSH 582, Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Contractor Supervisor, Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor, or Certified Microbial Consultant.
