About the position

The Maintenance Assistant position in Hatboro, PA, is a full-time role focused on equipment operation, repair, and routine preventative maintenance. The technician will be responsible for maintaining machinery and the facility, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with interpreting equipment schematics and manuals.
• Perform hands-on work improving, repairing, and maintaining machinery and facility.
• Provide general building maintenance including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and cleaning of production equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls to minimize downtime.
• Help diagnose and repair equipment and building issues.
• Oversee equipment output and product quality.
• Participate and enforce good housekeeping standards.
• Ensure compliance with equipment maintenance manuals, OHSA requirements, safety rules, ISO standards, and preventative maintenance.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Flexible work schedule including overtime and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
• Physical ability to climb, lift, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various climates and environmental conditions.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of maintenance experience (preferred).
• Driver's License (preferred).
