About the position

The Industrial Maintenance/Facility Manager at Admiral Packaging, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the manufacturing plant. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all employees in the maintenance department.
• Schedule, assign, and prioritize all maintenance tasks.
• Oversee all projects for new equipment installation, equipment relocation, and equipment removal.
• Create detailed project plans to address each task associated with the project.
• Ensure that all equipment project tasks are completed in a safe and legal manner.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and manage repairs of equipment and facilities.
• Identify training needs and oversee the design and delivery of training programs for the maintenance team.
• Work closely with other departments such as Production and Quality to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance-related data for future reference and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training.
• A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and industrial electronics knowledge.
• Knowledge of PLC Control Systems required.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the more popular PLC control systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
