Our client is a food processing plant located in Murfreesboro, TN, experiencing significant growth and looking to expand their production team. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various HVAC systems within the facility. This role requires a strong background in HVAC troubleshooting and repair, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Candidates should be comfortable working in a food production environment and must adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and maintain high standards of personal hygiene. In addition to HVAC responsibilities, the candidate will be involved in freezer inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. Experience in welding, particularly MIG and stick welding, is beneficial. Familiarity with PLC robotics, specifically Fanuc and Nachi systems, is also a plus. The ability to read blueprints and schematics is essential for this role, as is experience with electrical systems, including conduit work, 420V, 3-phase systems, and AC/DC circuits. The candidate will be expected to wire new motors to the production line and have a solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Mechanical skills are crucial, as the role involves working with cutting machinery, punch presses, boilers, conveyors, motors, and chillers. The candidate will also be responsible for mechanical work related to conveyors, rotors, shafts, bearings, gears, and the installation of blades.
