About the position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician at Cytiva plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of the manufacturing facility in Pensacola, FL. This position focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of various systems, with a strong emphasis on electrical skills. The technician will work night shifts on a rotating schedule, contributing to the maintenance department's efforts to support life-changing therapeutic developments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and logical control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical equipment and process problems.
• Execute corrective maintenance activities on production, facilities, and auxiliary equipment.
• Document work performed in CMMS or other maintenance management systems.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities and equipment status.

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED.
• 4+ years of experience in an Industrial Plant environment or as a Field Maintenance technician/mechanic, electrician, or multi-craft technician.
• Demonstrated electrical knowledge or experience.
• Ability to accurately document work performed in CMMS or other maintenance management systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of PLC, logical controls, and associated programming software.
• Experience troubleshooting programmable frequency drives (VFD) and their relationship to the process.
