About the position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of manufacturing equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machinery, including HVAC systems and CNC machines, to maintain production efficiency and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems and various construction and heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across a range of machinery.
• Conduct safety inspections on machines to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain and repair CNC machines, including 3-4 axis VMCs, 5+ axis VMCs, CNC lathes, CNC routers, and CNC Swiss lathes.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and conveyor systems.
• Utilize TIG welding and CNC laser cutting techniques as needed for repairs and modifications.
• Work with ERP software to track maintenance activities and inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in HVAC, heavy equipment repair, and equipment troubleshooting (not required).
• Experience with hydraulics and troubleshooting industrial automation equipment.
• Proficient in machine safety inspections and troubleshooting CNC machines.
• Hands-on experience with various machinery brands, including Okuma and Tsugami.
• Familiarity with CNC Mill (3-4 axis and 5+ axis VMC), CNC lathe (2-4 axis), CNC router, and CNC Swiss lathe.
• Knowledge of conveyor systems, band saws, and belt sanders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in maintenance or related fields are a plus.
