About the position
The Industrial Manufacturing Engineer at Diebold Nixdorf is responsible for developing, improving, and ensuring the effective application of product-specific manufacturing processes. This role involves contributing to various aspects of manufacturing process design, including plant layout, tool design, material selection, and machinery controls, while also supporting product and project operations to enhance quality, safety, and process efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve product-specific manufacturing processes.
- Contribute to manufacturing process design including plant layout and tool design.
- Select materials and manage machinery controls.
- Install capital equipment and ensure effective application of processes.
- Continuously improve quality, safety, and flow of materials.
- Evaluate processes, procedures, equipment capacity, and layout for improvements.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design.
- Ability to evaluate and improve process efficiency.
- Knowledge of plant layout and tool design.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with capital equipment installation.
- Familiarity with quality and safety standards in manufacturing.
