The Industrial Manufacturing Sales Manager position is a remote role that requires a strategic and results-oriented individual to assist the organization in achieving greater outcomes for clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating monthly and quarterly departmental reports to assess whether key performance indicators (KPIs) are being met and identifying areas for improvement. Embracing the company's eight core values and purpose statement is essential, as is the ability to record all client phone calls and submit daily reports detailing activities and results. Participation in team calls to share client progress reports and action items is also a key aspect of the role. The position involves ongoing learning and development opportunities tailored to the individual's role, and the manager will report directly to the Client Services Department Manager. Periodic on-site client visits will be required to maintain a consistent meeting rhythm with clients. In this role, the Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the Client Intake Manager during the intake stage to understand customer requirements and provide tailored ideas and options to set realistic client expectations. Additionally, the Sales Manager will work with the Business Development Manager, Marketing Manager, Learning & Development Manager, and Lead Development Manager to ensure that all departmental action plans align with the initial 12-18 Month Sales and Marketing Plan. The position requires defining strategic direction for resource allocation to pursue and develop sales strategies, as well as interacting with clients to build relationships and understand their sales knowledge and expectations. The Sales Manager will provide coaching and advice to clients to assist in sales efforts while ensuring their needs are met. The role also involves attending various critical meetings, including sales assistance calls, client transition meetings, and lead strategy meetings, to collaborate with other managers. Establishing regular meeting rhythms with various departments will be crucial to oversee client health strategies and ensure ongoing communication with clients to assess their satisfaction and success rates. The Sales Manager will articulate any changes in direction to the management team and provide guidance to department managers while formulating agreements on proposed changes. Furthermore, the role includes developing and overseeing the implementation of the client services process and maintaining records of client interactions for training purposes in conjunction with the Learning and Development Manager.
