About the position

The Industrial / Manufacturing Technology Training Instructor position at Eastern Iowa Community Colleges is a full-time role focused on the development and delivery of high-quality Industrial Maintenance training to businesses and industries within the EICC district. Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver quality Industrial Maintenance training programs to business and industry within the EICC district.
• Utilize experiences in the industrial or manufacturing fields to teach students effectively.
• Create engaging training materials that meet the needs of local businesses and industries.
• Adapt training content to accommodate different learning styles and ensure comprehension.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with industry trends.
• Collaborate with EICC staff to identify and address the training needs of local industries.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Exceptional communication and organization skills.
• Background in manufacturing.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in Industrial Maintenance training.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
