About the position

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanical Engineer for a 12-month contract-to-hire position. The role focuses on designing, evaluating, and improving integrated systems for industrial production processes, primarily working behind a desk. The engineer will collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure design accuracy and manage capital estimates.

Responsibilities

• Designing and modifying mechanical systems for industrial production.
• Reviewing and updating existing drawings or producing new ones.
• Collaborating with clients to determine project requirements and process flows.
• Managing capital estimates for clients and contributing to the development of proposals.
• Working alongside equipment Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to implement solutions.
• Participating as a core team member to ensure project goals are met.

Requirements

• Proven industrial/manufacturing experience.
• Strong background in engineering.
• Exceptional communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
