About the position

The Industrial Millwright position at Rotech Pumps USA Inc involves the repair and maintenance of centrifugal pumps and related rotating equipment. The role requires hands-on experience in a pump repair shop, focusing on disassembly, inspection, and assembly of pumps, while also providing guidance and training to junior mechanics. The position is full-time with a day shift schedule, emphasizing safety and efficiency in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, disassemble, inspect, repair, paint, and package centrifugal pumps and related rotating equipment.
• Assist with training and developing Pump Mechanic personnel to ensure efficient use of manpower and compliance with customer requirements.
• Monitor progress of repairs and assign and guide shop personnel to complete those repairs.
• Package and safely crate pumps built and prepare them for shipping.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in a pump repair shop facility with previous experience repairing ANSI and other centrifugal pumps.
• In-depth understanding of ANSI and other applicable standards.
• Ability to read pump sectional, machine drawings, and OEM pump manuals.
• Experience in disassembly, inspection, and writing detailed rotating equipment reports for necessary repairs and replacement parts.
• Proficient in safely using hand, power, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydrostatic testing of parts and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical seal drawings, and perform mechanical seal removal and installation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Excel for reporting and documentation purposes.
