Responsibilities
- Perform commercial painting tasks on structural steel components.
- Understand and apply paint code systems accurately.
- Operate painting equipment and handle different types of coatings.
- Use a forklift and overhead crane safely and effectively.
- Utilize airless painting techniques and equipment.
- Work with zinc and epoxy coatings as required.
- Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure, including working with fractions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial painting experience.
- Basic knowledge of structural steel fabrication operations.
- Familiarity with paint equipment and different coatings.
- Experience with airless painting techniques.
- Knowledge of using zinc and epoxy coatings is required.
- Ability to read a tape measure and work with fractions.
