About the position

Foth is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Process Designer who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to contribute to our clients' success. This position will be working out of our Bear River City, UT location. This position will have the support of a large team, but will currently be the sole permanent on-site representative of Foth for our client at this location. There will be opportunities to grow the on-site presence team based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Audit Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) in the field and redline them as needed
• Perform Process Safety Studies on audited P&ID's as needed
• Travel as required for fieldwork and/or other client/business objectives
• Work collaboratively and build effective relationships with others
• Communicate effectively across all levels within the organization
• Interact with clients regularly

Requirements

• Knowledge of P&ID's and Process flow diagrams related to process systems
• Ability to gain Procter & Gamble Process Safety certification
• Ability to work independently and interface with customer contacts in a professional manner on a regular basis

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent technical experience
• Certification to perform process safety studies at Proctor & Gamble
• 5+ years of process/piping design for industrial projects
• Creating and modifying P&IDs and PFDs
• Designing in 2D and 3D modeling software (AutoCAD MEP, Plant 3D, Revit)
• Paper industry projects
• HVAC ductwork design
• Developing Bill of Materials
• Construction support for an industrial environment
• Executing process/piping design projects according to ISA (Instrument Society of America) standards for P&IDs and PFDs
• Preparing design packages using AutoCAD and 3D modeling software
• Taking field dimensions, gathering equipment information, measuring equipment, preparing sketches, and developing piping isometrics
• Preparing engineering documentation for construction activities
