About the position

The Industrial Quality & Process Engineering Manager for Microelectronics at Ecolab is a pivotal role focused on leading global project and process improvement initiatives within the Colloidal Technology Group. This position aims to enhance quality, process control, and the start-up of new product production at manufacturing plants. The successful candidate will be a dynamic change-agent, responsible for developing strategies that optimize safety, efficiency, quality, and costs while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards. This role requires collaboration with various teams to implement best practices and drive significant impact through large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop future global strategies for key product platforms, optimizing safety, efficiency, quality, and costs.
  • Deploy and roll out global manufacturing best practices in collaboration with RD&E and regional plants.
  • Document and audit best practices against ISO9001:2015 standards.
  • Support global planning for capital investments and technology systems across regions.
  • Lead large-scale projects that standardize best practices and improve quality, process capabilities, yield, and profitability.
  • Communicate proactively with the OBL to ensure product requirements are met in the evolving MicroE industry.
  • Manage product defects and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline, preferably in engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in a Quality management role, including supply chain engineering and process development.
  • 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or pilot plant environment.
  • Strong English speaking and technical writing skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Chemical Engineering or Chemistry background.
  • Advanced technical degree.
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain manufacturing and Semiconductor manufacturing.
  • 10 years of experience in manufacturing chemistries supporting Colloidal Silica processes and new product development.
  • Background in large project management with experience in developing financial justifications for investments.
  • 8 years of experience in a wide range of polymer and chemical processes.
  • 5 years of experience in a technology management role, including supply chain engineering and process development.
  • 3 years of experience leading the deployment of process technology projects in a manufacturing environment.
