About the position

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Technician to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of ammonia refrigeration and HVAC systems at their processing facility in Avon, NY. This role involves maintenance and monitoring of various utilities, including compressed air and steam systems, within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Ensure the safe operation of HVAC systems and other utilities.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance plans.

Requirements

• EPA Refrigeration Certification
• EPA Type I HVAC/R Certification
• EPA Type II Certification
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC)
• Strong HVAC electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience in a manufacturing environment

Nice-to-haves
