About the position

Our company is seeking an experienced Industrial Reliability Engineer to develop, implement, and oversee all preventative and predictive maintenance programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, reliability, and safety in our ethanol manufacturing facility. This role is critical in maintaining the operational efficiency of our equipment and ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to. The Industrial Reliability Engineer will work closely with various teams to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production schedules and that all equipment is functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, particularly in industries related to ethanol, agriculture, or mining, and will be adept at troubleshooting and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability
  • Conduct preventative repairs to minimize equipment downtime
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
  • Collaborate with production teams to develop maintenance schedules that minimize impact on production goals
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement permanent solutions
  • Manage capital projects related to equipment upgrades and maintenance
  • Provide technical support to maintenance personnel

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the ethanol, agriculture, mining or related industry
  • Strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance techniques
  • Hands-on experience with grain, milling, pumps, liquids, food, and beverage equipment
  • Experience in mining, industrial, and R D industries
  • Experience in capital project management and Lean principles
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and proficiency in pneumatics and filtration
  • Fluency in Spanish is a huge plus
  • Must be HUGE on safety!
