About the position
The Industrial Security Officer position at Securitas involves ensuring the safety and security of client properties and personnel. The role includes conducting patrols, providing customer service, and monitoring activities at assigned sites. This position offers flexible scheduling and a paid training period, making it accessible for individuals with various backgrounds, including those without prior security experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a booth and answer phones
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors
- Conduct walking patrols of the assigned site
- Observe and report activities and incidents at the client site
- Enforce regulations and directives for the client site
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients
- Assist in preserving order and safety on the premises
Requirements
- Previous security experience is preferred
- Ability to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Excellent customer service skills
