About the position

The Industrial Sewer position involves operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality sewn products. This role is essential for ensuring that materials are sewn accurately and efficiently, with opportunities for advancement within a temp-to-hire framework.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew materials according to specifications.
• Measure and cut materials to the correct size before sewing.
• Sew tape on three sides of the material and label the final product.
• Carry finished products to the grommet machine for additional processing if required.
• Surge multiple pieces together as needed before sewing.

Requirements

• Previous experience in industrial sewing preferred.
• Experience in other sewing roles (e.g., embroidery, suit/dress fitting) is acceptable if industrial experience is lacking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good manual dexterity and hand strength to operate sewing machines.
• Strong attendance record and willingness to work overtime.
