About the position

The Industrial Sewing Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and supporting automated sewing machines and equipment. This role involves working closely with engineering staff to design, assemble, and support turnkey automated sewing stations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of heavy-duty sewing applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and assemble automated sewing stations in collaboration with engineering staff.
• Support and maintain existing industrial sewing machines and automated equipment.
• Implement, test, and debug special application fixtures for sewing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in Industrial Sewing and Automated Equipment for heavy-duty sewing applications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD design.
• Knowledge of electronics and pneumatics, including electronic circuitry and controls for CNC sewing units.
• Experience in designing special application fixtures.
