About the position

The Industrial Spray Painter is responsible for preparing and applying protective and decorative coatings to various products and machines. This role involves cleaning surfaces, operating spray equipment, and ensuring that all work meets quality control standards. The position requires adherence to safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and remove surface grease and dirt from products.
• Spray machines or customer products with protective and/or decorative materials.
• Produce work that meets or exceeds all Quality Control Standards.
• Clean and maintain spray equipment and spray booth.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Change paint booth filter and clean the floor of the paint spray area and paint carts.
• Dispose of hazardous or controlled materials safely and compliantly.
• Exhibit interpersonal skills to function as an active team member.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required by company management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or acceptable equivalent.
• One year of industrial spray painting experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in heavy lifting.
