About The Position

The position involves utilizing fundamental engineering concepts and practices to analyze operational data and methods, identify performance improvement opportunities, and implement technology systems that align with business objectives. The role encompasses various areas including automation and systems, facilities and material handling engineering, project management, operations research, and technology security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required; high school diploma or GED with four years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Software skills including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with management.
• Presentation skills for training and informational sessions.
• Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Power BI, Databricks, Atlas, Azure, Power Automate, SQL & SAS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data and methods to identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Support material handling sortation systems and PLC system integration for manual sort facilities.
• Assist in the development and design of sites, buildings, and material handling systems.
• Plan and implement engineering, construction, and start-up of sortation facilities and systems.
• Provide analysis and engineering support for field operations to control operational costs.
• Research and support new technology solutions to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Oversee security of OT devices and collaborate with IT and InfoSec on security initiatives.
