About the position

As a Senior Analyst in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) at Accenture, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to transforming digital engineering and manufacturing practices. This role is pivotal in helping world-class clients tackle their most significant challenges while creating products and services that resonate with customers in a quick, efficient, and sustainable manner. Industry X, the division you will be part of, merges Accenture's robust digital capabilities with profound engineering and manufacturing expertise. By leveraging data and digital technologies, we assist clients in reimagining their product development processes and manufacturing operations. This includes everything from product design and engineering to sourcing, manufacturing, and service renewal, ultimately driving productivity, growth, and sustainability commitments. In this role, you will support full life cycle software development and integration projects for our clients. Your success will hinge on your exceptional technical, analytical, and business skills. You will assess complex technical environments and define requirements for the integration of new solutions. Collaborating closely with customers, you will gather business requirements and document both functional and technical specifications. Your responsibilities will also include designing and developing solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL Server, and third-party manufacturing applications, as well as testing and implementing new systems. Building and maintaining strong client relationships will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring that client needs are met effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Support full life cycle software development and integration projects for clients.
  • Assess complex technical environments and define requirements for integration of new solutions.
  • Work with customers to understand business requirements and document functional and technical specifications.
  • Design and develop solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL Server, and third-party manufacturing applications.
  • Test and implement new systems.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with commercial off-the-shelf MES/MOM products (e.g., Aveva/Wonderware, Rockwell FTPC, Parsec TrakSys, Siemens Opcenter, DELMIS Apriso, Solumina iBASEt) or Custom Microsoft .NET development.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in full life cycle development using Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a substantial computer science component.
  • 1+ years' experience in full life cycle software development.
  • Experience in design and development of complex systems, including multi-tier applications, with a strong focus on OOA&D and relational database technology.
  • Experience working with customers as part of the software development process.
  • Experience using Microsoft tools, including C# and SQL Server.
  • Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and multi-tasking skills.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel within Canada, the US and internationally.
