The Infant Assistant Teacher position at Early Learning Centers of Rhode Island involves supporting the lead teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months. Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily activities and lesson plans for infants.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants.
- Support the developmental needs of each child in the classroom.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience in early childhood education or related field.
- Child Development Associate Certification (CDA).
- CPR Certification.
- Ability to pass a national fingerprint check and DCYF clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months.
