About the position
The Infant Caregiving & Educator position at Growing Explorers Learning Center involves providing exceptional care and education to young children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. The role requires a nurturing and dedicated individual who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a supportive learning environment. This full-time position offers a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, with a focus on creating enriching experiences for both children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education to infants and young children.
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Maintain a nurturing and safe classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- 1+ year of early childhood classroom experience preferred.
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprints.
- Commitment to a full-time position, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with lesson planning and parent communication using technology (iPads).
- Background in child development or early childhood education.
