About the position

The Infant Program Supervisor at La Petite Academy of Colorado Springs is responsible for creating and implementing engaging learning experiences for preschool children while leading a team of teachers. This role emphasizes the importance of nurturing children's social, physical, and intellectual growth in a supportive environment. The supervisor will also manage classroom activities, ensure compliance with licensing guidelines, and foster relationships with families to promote child development and center success.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
• Mentor fellow teachers and lead classroom management.
• Implement curriculum and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success.

Requirements

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and additional center requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to engage in physical activity with children.

Nice-to-haves

• Infant Nursery Supervisor certification
• 1 year of childcare experience (preferred)
