About the position
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team at Beansprout Academy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Preschool Teacher will create engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among students.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress in areas such as language development, motor skills, and social skills.
- Maintain effective classroom management to create a structured yet flexible learning atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other educators to support children with special educational needs or developmental delays.
- Organize activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-based learning.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
