About the position
The Infant/Toddler Room Assistant is responsible for providing a nurturing and safe environment for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years. This role involves supporting the lead teacher, engaging with children through play and educational activities, and maintaining cleanliness in the classroom. The position requires a dependable individual who loves working with young children and can adapt to varying schedules as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in daily activities and lesson plans.
- Ensure the safety and happiness of the children in the classroom.
- Engage with children through play and educational activities.
- Maintain cleanliness in the infant/toddler room at the end of each day.
Requirements
- Valid Child Development Associate Certification (CDA) preferred.
- Experience in teaching or working with young children.
- High school diploma or GED.
