About the position

The Infant Toddler Teacher or Assistant PreK Teacher at Eyes On The Future Child Development Center is responsible for creating a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. This role involves implementing lesson plans, fostering children's growth through play-based learning, and collaborating with parents to support their child's education.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for Infant/Toddler-aged children
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
• Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in nannying, preschool, babysitting, daycare, or related field
• Strong classroom management and behavior management skills
• Knowledge of infant care and early childhood education principles
• Familiarity with special education practices is a plus
• Ability to adapt lessons and activities to meet the needs of individual students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children
• Minimum of an associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
